WebDAV Office plugin and Office365

Hi Answer People -

I'm getting the following error message from Excel when trying to open a spreadsheet embedded in a Confluence (On Demand) page:

The environment is Firefox and Office365.

I rechecked and reconfigured the Office WebDAV plugin

Anyone know of any issues with the WebDAV plugin and Office365?  Are there workarounds? Config suggestions?

Well this is the answer I got from Atlassian after opening a support ticket (which still seems to work better than this Answers portal...)

I have been informed that the WebDAV Office connector is not compatible with Office 16.  Office 13 and OpenOffice 2.x-3.x are supported.
There is a JIRA ticket to expand the functionality - go vote on it.

BTW - it doesn't work with Microsoft Edge (their new browser) and even if you try to natively open in IE10, I am still getting the error.

Also - the Office links are not supported on Microsoft Edge apparently.

When attempting to edit an embedded spreadsheet in Office from Microsoft Edge, Edge throws the following:
