Hi Tom,
We've created an add-on that provides some great usage analytics in Confluence Cloud. It includes an overview of activity but also the details like who has viewed a particular page.
You can find more information here: Analytics for Confluence Cloud
Hi Tom and Vadim,
Check out our new plugin GoogleAnalytics for Confluence Cloud. It's free at the moment.
Nearly all the data available from Google Analytics will be available to you.
Here is the setup guide. You will need to have Tracking ID from Google. If you don't have it yet, there is a link in the guide, which will show you how to get it.

Hi Vadim,
See my answer below. I hope this is helpful to you.
We were using Confluence Cloud as knowledge base and documentation site. I was annoyed that there was little analytics data available in Cloud and complaint to our technical team. These fabulous guys have managed to create a plugin for me to connect with google analytics.
In early March, we decided to publish the plugin on Atlassian Marketplace, because we saw that many people have the same challenges as we did. So give it a try and give us some feedback.

Analytics is a very all encompassing term. What exactly would you like to know? What statistics would you like to see?
