When cutting and pasting content from Google Docs, Confluence resets the ordered list to "1" after every image. Is there a way to tell Confluence to "restart numbering from X?"
To solve this problem you must move the pasted content completely within the leading list item. Within a list item do not use any hard Return, but only soft Returns (Shift + Return). To do so go to the begin of the item which should restart its numbering and press the Backspace key. If necessary do this multiple times, so the line is surely direct beneath the image or the last line ot the preceding list item. In doubt merge the two list items and then press once Enter (hard return). If this does not help, additionally go to the begin of the preceding line containing the image and press the Backspace key. If the image flows to its hitherto preceding line, the numbering should be correct. In this case move the image with a soft return (Shift + Return) to a new line. This should not effect the numbering. If the numbering is still not correct repeat the last stepis for all paragraphs relating to the list item.
