Hello,
I have problems migrating my spaces from download version of confluence to on-deman versin of confluence.
When i use "Import Space" on on deman version then the following problem occures:
The zip file did not contain an entry 'exportDescriptor.properties'. It contained: TEST-172702-12/, TEST-172702-12/attachments/, TEST-172702-12/attachments/1343507/, TEST-172702-12/attachments/1343507/2064394/, TEST-172702-12/attachments/1343507/2064394/1, __MACOSX/, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/attachments/, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/attachments/1343507/, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/attachments/1343507/2064394/, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/attachments/1343507/2064394/._1, TEST-172702-12/entities.xml, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/._entities.xml, TEST-172702-12/exportDescriptor.properties, __MACOSX/TEST-172702-12/._exportDescriptor.properties, __MACOSX/._TEST-172702-12
I do have the version of confluence in both (4.3).
in that zip file is a file called "exportDescriptor.properties" so i do not knpw why confluence has a problem there.
Thanks for you help,
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
I believe that your ZIP file should contain the following only:
exportDescriptor.properties
entities.xml
From the error you're getting, it seems that the ZIP file contains a folders "TEST-172702-12" and "__MACOSX"; this may be due to the compressing method in the Mac OSX.
You can either export the XML in ZIP from your standalone Confluence, or use a command line method to ZIP the files.
Hope this helps. :)
It is worth adding maybe, that according to this Atlassian Document, Windows ZIP utility should not be used but some other tool like 7ZIP is better.
Thank you @Justin Alex for the tip as I could not figure out the same problem as well.
