Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I have a huge "document" which I divided into children-pages. That works nicely, but now I want to present the full document to others.
I tried several options, all not with the result I am looking for. 2 of them get close, but not good enough:
Include macro
Aside from the amount of work to get this done, I miss the page name as header. Would be nice to have as option for the macro to include the page name at the top.
Space Settings-->Content Tools-->Export to PDF
Requires some selection work, but most problematic is that the result is non-editable. At specific points the layout get's ugly like one line at another page.
Is there another solution which I missed?
I found a solution which is a bit cumbersome, but does seem to work:
- at the children page, place the entire content inside a {Excerpt} Macro.
- At the top page, create {children display} macro with options:
-- heading style to h1
-- Excerpt Display to Rich Content
