When I use the rest api for attachment uploading, it returns this:
The requested URL returned error: 504
I can't upload the html of it. So here is what it says:
View our status page and subscribe for
service updates.
image is this:
The api I'm using is:
https://<confluence cloud hostname>/wiki/rest/api/content/<page id>/child/attachment/att<attachment id>/data
Sometimes it happens where the upload stops uploading the file and it is incomplete. Other times it appears to finish the upload where it gets to 100%, but then stops and appears to timeout returning the same http status of 504.
This appears to be fixed on Atlassian's side.
If your attachment is within the size limit on you instance and its failing, reach out to Atlassian support.

They can investigate the issues, based on logging of your instance.

Since I'm not the site admin, I've asked the person who is to open up a ticket there for me.
Thanks.
I know it's not a size issue because if the upload does finish, after 30-60 seconds, it will stop and return http status 504.
I've even downloaded the file after and the file was complete.
