what is the expand macro wiki markup that works

the wiki markup documented in the expand macro documentation "{expand:title}text to be displayed{expand}" does not work on confluence cloud.  What is the correct wikimarkup??

It works for me. I don't type a closing command. Just the {expand   then Return, then type the text, then double-click the box to change the title if desired. hth.

thanks - it does work in the menu frame just fine.  Appreciate the quick response
