My Jira and Confluence cloud site was deleted due to inactivity. I would like to request recovery if the site is still within the retention period.

Please try doing this once, hope it helps.
To proceed with recovery, you or the site admin should visit the Atlassian admin portal (admin.atlassian.com), select the relevant organization or site, go to the billing section, find the inactive tab for the site, and attempt to reactivate the site and its products. This will restore the data if the retention period has not expired.
unfortunatly i do not see my site there, i only see the new one i have created but not the old one, does that mean that all my old data was wipped out ? i thought the grace periode before hard deletion is 60 days !!

Even though success depends on timing and data retention regulations, it is essential to contact Atlassian Support directly with the site URL and registered email if these are not feasible or if the retention period has just ended in order to request manual recovery assistance.
