We run JIRA/Confluence on demand mostly for internal purposes. Some user now also would like to run a public blog, where we also would like to show the profile of the bloggers. Yet, when using the profile macro to display name and photo of the blogger is restricted to only authenticated users.
Is there way to set a specific profile public, without really give anynomous access to all profiles of Confluence via global space permissions?
Hi Christian,
I have looked into this for you. Unfortunately at this time there is no way to set individual anonymous access for profiles. It is currently either all or nothing as you saw in the global space permissions.
I'm sorry to disappoint you!
Cheers,
Miranda
