Hello,
we are using the page property report to create an overview of different customers that we manage as a company. I was wondering if it is possible to use this feature in reverse.
What I mean is this: Is there a way to add fields or change values on a customer page, by adding fields in the overview or changing values in the overview for that customer.
Best,
Jan
Hi @Jan Hahlbrock, welcome to the community!
Unfortunately, this is not possible with the page property report. Only the rows within the page property macro on a page will be displayed in the report, and it's a one-way street.
There is still hope for your metadata use case, though! Atlassian is planning to introduce databases to Confluence. They acquired our product Orderly Database from our company and are working on making it a native feature in Confluence. The early access program already started, and a beta will follow. There's a waiting list that you can join. Having used the app for just such a use case and still using it, I'm confident you could be happy with it.
For more information and the link to the waiting list, have a look at the official community article: Databases are coming soon to Confluence!
Best, Max
Hey Max,
thank you for this information, I have signed up for the early access.
Best,
Jan
