I get this when I am trying to edit a link in a page I was making. Specifically, there was a website URL that Confluence turned into a active link. When I try to edit that link it crashes the tab.
I tried in Google Chrome and the function works without issue. We recommend Edge for our users right now so this not working in Edge is an issue.
Hi Michael,
Welcome to Atlassian Community! It's nice to have you join us.
I understand you are facing a status_breakpoint error while editing a page in Edge. I checked and I don't see many reports of this happening.
My first recommendation is to make sure Edge is on the most recent version.
If that doesn't help, Microsoft suggests the following:
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Accumulated cache or corrupted cookies might be causing conflicts. Go to "Settings" > "Privacy, search, and services" > "Choose what to clear" and select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data." Then click on "Clear now."Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.
Disable Extensions: Extensions can sometimes interfere with the browser's performance. Temporarily disable all extensions and see if the problem persists. If not, enable them one by one to identify the problematic extension.
Reset Edge Settings: Go to "Settings" > "Reset settings" and select "Restore settings to their default values." This action resets your browser settings to the default configuration.
Disable Hardware Acceleration: Hardware acceleration can sometimes cause issues. In Microsoft Edge, go to Settings > System, and turn off the "Use hardware acceleration when available" option.
I hope that helps, but if you continue to have any issues, please have your administrator raise a ticket with Atlassian Cloud Support and we can have a look.
Take care,
Shannon S | Atlassian Cloud Support
