By any chance, is it the same behavior than the one observed here ?
The reason for this limitation is based on the interface of the original Tasks Report Macro. It allows to provide spaces and pages and hence expects a limited number of pages to cover. The list of provided pages is exchanged via whenever a set of tasks is rendered. The length of an HTTP request is limited, therefore we need to limit the number of pages to guarantee to not exceed the usually accepted length of an HTTP request.
Thank you for that information. So given the fact that there is a limitation based on Spaces, maybe I can solve for this a different way.
Here's my situation. I have ~40 Spaces created, each is a separate initiative. Would it be possible to group all of these Spaces under another hierarchy? So I would essentially have 1 Space with 40 children?
Am I thinking about this in the right way? And, if so, would it be possible to do this without recreating all of my Spaces?

Space hierarchy is not native to Confluence; consequently, it will not be possible to do as you specify. Nonetheless, you could use 2 macro Task report with each 20 spaces listed. It is not a nice workaround but at least one in your case.
