The Activity Stream is not loading nor Jira Macro within confluence

Hi I am new here and the company I work for has a cloud Atlassian instance.  We are just starting to use confluence more heavily within our instance and I am running into a few issues.

I am struggling to get the activity stream macro to load within my confluence page.  Every time I edit the document and publish the activity stream is available to view but upon a refresh the activity stream goes blank, the outline is there but there is not any information.  In addition, when using the Jira macro to display a filter within confluence I am receiving errors from other users saying that the macro is not showing anything.  They see the Jira macro, they can refresh it but issues are not showing. I made sure I set the permissions for those users to see that filter so I do not know why it is not showing for them.
