This page has failed to load: AbortError: The user aborted a request. Timed out at 30s

I get this error with increasing frequency:

I'm not doing the abortion, Confluence does. None of my other web applications has a connectivity issue. It has happened on different pages. I would not call these pages huge. They would probably fit on 3-4 sheets of A4 or similar.
I have Grammarly connected, but don't think that would be related.

 

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a page for editing
  2. Editing usually works of for a while
  3. (Often the cursor goes invisible)
  4. Sporadically I get the 'We lost connection with you, hold on"
  5. After a while, the error message above occurs.

Hello Lars,

Thank you for bringing this error to us. I took a look, and it looks like we did have some degraded performance around the time you reported the case, and we have since fixed that issue.

Unable to create/edit pages in Confluence Cloud 

Can you tell me if you're still encountering the problem or if everything is working as expected now?

Hi Shannon.
I don't have the problem right now. It appeared a full day before the incident you point to. It has happened 2-3 times the last few months, and seems to be gradually getting worse/better. I.e. there are weeks with no problems, days with smaller lockups, maybe an hour with severe problems, and then gradually getting better again.
So this is helpful, but I'm not confident it is solved, yet.

Thank you for your reply.

I'm taking a look at your Cloud site's ticket history, but I cannot find any support tickets regarding performance since 2019.

Whenever you encounter an issue like this, and you can't find any recent incidents listed at confluence.status.atlassian.com, have your site admin raise a ticket with us at support.atlassian.com. That way, we can open up a performance investigation on your site.

Same issue for me.
