Those of you, who have already tested out the new navigation, what are your thoughts on it?

I thoughts are not to roll it out and don't understand why this change?

I feel Atlassian has gone down the wrong rabbit hole with this new navigation. It just does not work and is making work more cumbersome to use.

The side navigation is now far too cramped, cluttered and hard to distinguish where is what. It requires  so much more scrolling & there is no clear overview of what is where.

Yesterday spent almost half an hour trying to find where the Organisation and Customer info is.

I wonder am I alone in these thougths, or are there others who feel the same.

Hi @Sussi Åström

I completely understand your frustration. I’ve also found the new navigation to be a bit confusing and harder to use than before. The side navigation feels cramped, and it's been a challenge to find things quickly. Like you, I also spent extra time searching for important info that used to be easier to locate.

It seems like this change might need some adjustments to improve the user experience. Hopefully, Atlassian will listen to feedback and make some updates to make it more intuitive. You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way.

If we're talking about Jira, I actually like it but it took a while to get adjusted to it (we were in EAP since H2 2024 so I guess I had plenty of time 😅)

Confluence is relatively new and I guess I'm still adjusting but I don't see as many benefits as in Jira (e.g. hiding specific apps from tabs part in the project and such) but I guess that's better than having different navs in each product.
