User / User Group with only read-only permission to 1 space

Hoping to grant a few users (potentially a group if it makes sense) ONLY view-only access to ONLY 1 space.

This is for clients / external parties.  Info in this space is semi-sensitive, making this space anonymous access won't work.

I've created a group with View Only access to just this one space . . . but account isn't able to use confluence at all unless they have Application Access to Confluence / are in "confluence-users" group . . . which gives them access to all the other spaces as well.
