Want to use Child Pages without it saying Child Pages

Melisa Singh December 13, 2023

New and not tech savvy at all.

I use the "Child Page" macro to display a list of pages for a space. I can't seem to figure out how to edit it so that it doesn't say "Child Pages" but instead something else I write like "List of Pages". Is this possible?

Thanks.

Hey Melisa,

Our app Advanced Content Navigator for Confluence have a macro like Child pages, but also have many more features like:

  • Change root page's location
  • show unread pages
  • show statuses and many data from the pages
  • and which is most important to you: you can add a title to it like "List of Pages"

In this example I have inserted 4 macros, so I can overview 4 different location's pages at the same time!

Let me know if that helps! :)

Hi @Melisa Singh

Welcome on the Community 🙂

You cannot change it, because it's a default macro header.

If you really want to change you have to create own user macro and describe its behaviour.

Is there another macro that does the same thing but is labeled in a way that will look better for intranet?

Do you use Server / Data Center or Cloud (*atlassian.net)?
