Why are my Images re-sizing after publishing?

The issue happens to me quite often. Especially if Photos are dragged & dropped directly onto the edit screen. 

1. Insert Photos

2. Resize (snap to either the smallest or larger size available from the terrible resizing tool) 

3. Publish: photos become small.

I'm experiencing the same issue!! I upgraded to the new editor this morning and, despite having decent sized photos in the editor, when I publish, they are tiny - exactly what you are experiencing :( I'm on chrome. I hope someone can help...
