can't load balsamiq mockup on the page in confluence. it stops in the middle of loading the balsamiq

Hi Confluence team!

Balsamiq plugin is not loading

Is there a bug or something? On other pages, Balsamiq loads okay and opens the mockup.

Welcome to the Community!

I'm afraid this one needs to go to Atlassian support over at https://support.atlassian.com/contact - we would need to read the logs to see what the system is doing and why it is failing to load, but only Atlassian support have any access to those.  Here, we are mostly just service users, we have no access to other people's systems.

You might also want to raise this with the app's author as they may be able to help a bit more (and Atlassian may refer you to them too)

If you are on a free or $10 plan, the support system will refer you back here - let us know if that happens, and we'll see if we can get Atlassians to take a look.

Hi Nic,

thanks for your attention to my issue.

The console says that there is a 409 error on this page. So basically it just stops in the middle of loading and then the Chrome browser displays an error message "The page is not responding".

But other pages from the project of ours, are working perfectly with Balsamiq mockups.

And yeah, it's sending back here from the contact page.

Ok, I'd be tempted to have a look at what the page is trying to load, using the browser's development tools, but that's getting into deep debugging.

I think what you're seeing is a broken mockup, and either Balsamiq or Confluence can't cope with it, failing part way through load or rendering.

Yeah, seems like that.

Anyway, the page is archived for now. 

I downloaded my Balsamiq attachments from that page, uploaded those mockups in the Balsamiq browser app, opened them to edit, and just copied them all to the newly created page. Now everything works fine. And I didn't lose the work that I've been making for the past couple of days 😰
