Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×Hello,
I am trying confluence for the first time and trying to build a html form. however I am getting
Unknown macro: {html}
any ideas on what I might need to set. I have searched the plugins and no confluence html macro shows up.
My end challenge is to build a custom form to submit tickets to jira ondemand so any tutorials on this would also be appreciated.
thx

The HTML macro is not available in OnDemand for security reasons: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Restricted+Functions+in+Atlassian+OnDemand
Generally, OnDemand won't let you insert arbitrary HTML. This is an attempt to protect against XSS attacks. At this time I don't believe there's a way to create a custom form in Confluence OnDemand.
Thanks you for the answer Michael. Do you know if jira ondemand will accept an api call to add data. I am thinking of building the forms on another webserver.
thx

Yes, absolutely. You may also be interested in the JIRA Issue Collector, which is bundled with OnDemand.
