I want to edit the global template for meeting notes to change some of the instructional text. How to do this? The documentation here says to select Template->Instructional Text but I cannot figure out how to do that.
I use Confluence Cloud.
Hi Ivor
Did you find the section, where you can edit the global template?
When you are in the edit mode, you can just click this icon to add a instructional text:
Hi Dominic,
thanks for the reply. I was afraid it might so simple as that... BUT on my edit screen I do not have that option.
I accessed the global template by clicking on "Settings" in the top level of Confluence. The I found the "Global Templates and Blueprints" and clicked on the "Edit" to the right of the template I want to edit.
Below is a screenshot of what the toolbar at the top looks like.

Hi Ivor
Now I see. I think, you use the new editor style. And as it is referred in this Community Question, the Instructional Text is new just "Placeholder Text"
You can find this option, when you clock the plus (+).
Hope this is the solution for you.
