Did you mean:

inject dynamic dates to JQL Query from Confluence Gadgets.

Mahalakshmi Sivasamy October 27, 2021

I am trying to filter issues from jira based on JQL query and displaying it on a confluence page. JQL filter the data for previous week.

My requirement now is to have fields in confluence page and get dates dynamically in that field and then display the JQL query results based on those dates.

Long story short, it is like modifying Dates in JQL based on a date field in a confluence page.

Any insights?

Hi @Mahalakshmi Sivasamy,

Thank you for raising this on Atlassian Community. Out of the box, it's not possible to set dynamic dates in JQL based on a field in Confluence.

Confluence Cloud doesn't allow this type of customization, but if you want to see what the process would be like, there's a similar question for Confluence Server in the thread below:

For Cloud, you'd have to develop an app, so it won't be as simple. See Atlassian Developer Resources if that's something you'd be interested in pursuing.

I hope that helps, but let us know if you have any questions.

Take care,

Shannon
