Hi,
is there a possibility to implement monitoring to check and inform about inconsistencies between Jira statuses and JA states and process steps?
Now I manually export JA features and Jira epics and compare it in Excel. But it would be great if it could be done automatically and send as mail once a day.
Did somebody already do it successfully?
I suppose it is possible with Adaptavist ScriptRunner script. Is there any other way?
We have implemented Jira Align process steps (mapped 1:1 in all cases except this one Jira status Canceled is mapped to JA process step Done). Multiple Jira statuses / JA process steps are mapped to 1 JA state.

Thank you, Nena
@Nena Kruljac Thank you for the question!
This is a rather complex pattern of data flow, if the Process Steps are correctly mapped to state, the Process Steps are in an appropriate order, the Process Steps are mapped in the Project Mapping AND the Sync Process Steps with Jira States is also done correctly then this will all work.
With all that correctly set, you should have no need to compare this data to ensure things are in the appropriate states/status/process step.
You have the correct article, but if it is not working for you then there is something not set correctly, or potentially users are updating State in JA rather than the Process Step.
If your company has an Advisory Services engagement, then we can help clear this up with you, just contact your SEM (Strategic Engagement Manager) and they can bring either an ESS and/or ETA to assist.
If your company does not have an Advisory Services engagement I would advise submitting a Support Ticket for assistance.
