Amanpreet Singh April 21, 2021

Hi there

I was wondering is there any way to archiving the jira boards? As i want to move the inactive and old boards which are not being used in the archive space.

Boards do not have archiving options, only projects and issues do.

A board is not a container of issues, it is a view.  Deleting a board has no effect on the underlying issue data, so there's no real need for an archive function.

Hi @Amanpreet Singh ,

Change the permission scheme so that the Browse Project permission is only available to certain users.

Hello @Amanpreet Singh ,

May be Board JQL filters can be helpful to you.

Go to Board filter --> permissions --> Enable restrictions to only yourself so these can be hidden to all the other users.

Please try on Dummy Project or on Test instance.

Thanks,

Anvesh
