Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to create an IF condition within Automation that creates a subtask only if a specific field contains a persons name based on a list of names that is inputted into the IF statement.

Example:

Create a subtask IF Terminated Employee's Full name is - Darth Vader OR Boba Fett OR Luke Skywalker OR Leia Organa

Would just need to make an If condition each name instead?

Thanks!

@Brad Krivelow

What's the trigger?

And why terminated employees or are you tracking the data of terminated employees name in some field

Yes it's possible to do what you are asking, but a requirement without context is not sufficient

Let us know when the issue should trigger

Thanks,

Pramodh

Hi Pramodh!

The trigger is when a new Issue is created (a Termination Request). The reporter types in the Terminated Employee's full name into a custom text field within the portal.

the idea is to create/auto assign a sub task to the owner of the SaaS app but instead of having it created for EVERY new termination we'd like it to only create based on the known list of users who have access to that SaaS app.

Hope this helps and thanks again
