We are interested in using Atlassian products Jira Service Management and Confluence to replace an onboarding subscription.
When a new hire is confirmed for onboarding, a ticket in Jira Service Management is created to initiate and track work. This triggers a Confluence page to be created. The space and template used for the page depend on information in the ticket.
Once the new hire has an Atlassian account and is added to Confluence, we would like to automate moving the page to their personal space. However, I can't see where we may be able to do that in either JSM or Confluence automations; both seem limited to existing spaces and not dynamic for what we want. Is what we want possible?
Additionally, is it possible for the templates themselves to use dynamic values depending on information in the ticket? For example, if we wanted to tag the new hire's manager (collected on the ticket), or give due dates based on a start date listed on the ticket?
Thank you!
Hi @Maia M ,
Currently it is not possible to use "dynamic" spaces in automations, unfortunately.
