×Hi. I have a project that fields email requests from customers (e.g. customer@company.com), as well as email addresses associated with automated alerts from 3rd party services (e.g. alerts@company.com).
I want to avoid sending customer notifications to alerts@company.com. Can I do this via project settings > customer notifications, or would have have to do this using an automation rule?
Hi Nick,
I'm assuming you the 3rd party service is the reported on those tickets?
Anyhow: Jira notifications can not be filtered. Every user will get them, the rules are the same for everyone.
You could use automation rules but in that case you'd have to replace all notifications by automation rules. It's not ideal.
Here is a related feature request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-68100
Not ideal is putting it mildly! Thanks Charlie - voted for the feature request but as it's been open for 3.5 years I'm not holding out much hope.
