Backup of Assets

Good afternoon,

I have premium licensing in Jira Service Management and I am going to use the option provided by Atlassian to generate a backup.

I would like to know if the Assets are installed in the backup, and if not, how can I do it?

Hi @David Arévalo , assets are not included in the cloud backup.

Therefore, you need to purchase a third-party app.

An example of such an app is Insight Assets Backup & Migration

I am part of Revyz, if you are looking to protect your assets data, you have to either build your own solution or use a marketplace app.

If you go the marketplace route you will find a couple of apps that will help you backup your assets data - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=assets%20backup including the Revyz Assets Data Manager for Jira and Revyz Data Manager for Jira.

Couple of things I would urge you to consider:

- What are the disaster recovery use cases you are worried about

- Are the disaster recovery use cases limited to just assets or broader
