I created an automation that sends to the client an email but I noticed that it always comes with this "jira automation" My question is is it possible to remove it or replace it?
Hi @Hamza ait aissa - Under the automation rule details, the default actor is an account called Jira Automation. You would just need to change the actor to the desired account if you want to change who the message is coming from.
Note - That individual needs to have rights to execute the actions in the rule.
1. In the list of rules, select the name of the rule you want to edit.
2. Modify detailed rules if necessary. The following properties can be changed:
Name and description.
Scope of the rule. This will determine which projects the rule will apply to and can only be changed from the global admin settings. Your rules may apply:
a unique project
a selection of many projects
all projects in your version of Jira
all projects of a particular project type, e.g. all software projects
Whether to enable rule activation or not.
Allows the Rule Trigger to specify whether the action of the rule can trigger other rules. By default, to avoid rule execution loops, automation actions in one rule will not trigger other rules.
Error message to specify the message the rule owner should receive if the rule fails.
3. Owner of the rule. Select Save to apply your changes .
