I noticed the following error when submitting very large request via the JSD Customer portal:
I also noticed that emailed support requests get truncated so they do not exceed roughly 35KB.
I am wondering if there is a way to increase this in JSD Cloud?

This issue is related to the value for the field jira.text.field.character.limit and currently, it's not possible to change the value to increase the character limit in Jira Cloud.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
