Same issue here. I've tried to add fields to Request Type, but the widget format and fields won't change. Any suggestions where to look?

Hello @JAquino,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When using the Widget, the custom fields will be based on the ones added to the request types, but not all custom fields are supported. You will be able to confirm the fields not supported when enabling the Widget:

Currently, the supported fields on the widget are:

System fields: Summary, Description, Priority, Components, Fix Version/s, and Attachments.

Custom fields: Single & multi-line text, Single & multi-select, Radio, and Checkbox.

There is a feature suggesting to support more fields:

Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Kind regards,
Angélica

Hi @JAquino ,

As far as i know (and I havent used widgets that often), the widget is linked to a Request Type (or you can make it so the end user can choose their request type).

If you change the fields of the Request Type form that your widget is linked to, this should also change on the widget itself.

Hi Dirk, Thank you for the feedback. How can I add fields for the Request Type form? As checked in my widget configuration, I can only edit the aesthetic messages.

Hi @JAquino ,

in the widget configuration you should see which Request Type is linked.

Now in your Project Settings -> Request Types you can see a list of all your defined request types.

If you there look at the one that is linked to the widget you can click on that and go to request form.

Hey @JAquino ,

In your widget configuration you see a "Default Request Type" which is set to Request.

This is the name of the request type you will need to edit for the fields to change on the widget. (my laptop/desktop support one was just an example)

So follow my steps and open the "Request" request type and you can change the fields there.
