We have a company that supports multiple subsidiaries through our JSD Cloud instance. I have projects setup for each subsidiary but I am having trouble figuring out how to customize the projects and not just the help desk portal. I also want to make it so each subsidiary cannot see the others (critical need) by going to the help desk portal from the project portal. Can either of these be accomplished with Cloud or do I need to look into a server license instead?
Hi Chris,
The customer portal is shared between projects, so any setting like color and banner will be applied to all projects. The only configuration that is specific for each project you can find in Project settings > Portal settings.
If you don't want customers to see all projects you must go to Project settings > Customer permissions > Who can access the portal and send requests to IT Service Desk? > Customers my team adds to the project. This must be done on all projects, so only customers and users that are added to the project will see the request types on the customer portal.
Regards,
Angélica
