I want to change my team priority list by adding and removing some queues. The problem is that everytime I try to edit a queue in this list I get the message from JIRA that "We couldn’t update the priority group for queue X".
This seems an error in JIRA, but maybe I am doing something wrong?
Would love to hear a solution!
Hello @Patrick de Vries welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You indicated in the permissions level of your question that you are a Product Admin.
Are you also a Project Admin for the service project? You need to be a project admin to create and manage priority groups.
For reference, this is the documentation article: Prioritize your queues using groups
Hey @Dave Mathijs
Thanks for your quick and helpful response! You're right that I got the "We couldn’t update the priority group for queue X" notification because I wasn't administrator of the project.
It does feel strange to me that I didn't get the notification that I don't have the permissions to do that specific action.
I now run into another issue. I try to reorganise the Team priority list, but it won't update the queue list. To be specific, when I reorder the queues I am able to put the queue in the right spot, but it doesn't end up on the right spot in my queues under Team priority.
Do you also know how to fix that?
Would love to hear your response!

In your Queue settings, you have a grey button Reorder queues
Can you perhaps post a screenshot of the actual view and the configured view?

Thank you for your answer. I found the reorder queues to reshape the team priority list. I found it under Queue settings > Priority groups > manage queues.
By using reorder queues I was changing a different list. Thanks again for your help!
Warm regards,
Patrick
