×We currently use the Team field to 'assign' work to groups but not to individuals. We also create via Automation PIR - Post Incident Reviews - for every major incident.
I need a way to carry forward the team value from the Incident work item to the PIR, but the field is not available to select. I know I can use the Advanced section of the action to specify Team and a value, but don't know how to get the value I need from the Incident.
Is this possible?
Have you tried assigning the Team data from the incident as a smart value?
Start by attempting to grab the field data and saving it as a {{smartvalue}} and then add a log action to verify that you can get that value. Once you can confirm that, you should be able to add that smart value to the PIR field directly in the following automation step.

Thanks for the response @Trudy Claspill! The priority on this has dropped for me, and this looks to be a bit of a read, so I'll return to it when I have time and absolutely let you know/accept answer when I do.
