Hello,
I have a question regarding the customer portal. Is there a way to have multiple portals inside one instance. Here is what I want to do. We have a lot of global offices and they all do different things and have different asks from users. Is there a way to have sub portals in the customer portal to separate different regions?
I dont see an option just want to see if there is a way to do it or if anyone has thoughts on what would be a good alternative.
If you see in my screenshot we have 3 portals which are in different projects but is there a way to have one multiple portals for 1 project?
You would need an app in order to do that, the default portal cannot have sub portals. Refined is one app that can be used for this.
@Peter Aldana , as far as I know, it's one portal per project.

Hello @Peter Aldana
As Robert and Mikael have mentioned, no out of the box solution exists.
As a workaround, one approach you might consider is using organisations under customers for categorisation with a combination of portal groups for separation. This would allow you to control who can see and access certain issues and also provide a means to filter issues by the organisation. I have successfully implemented this method for two other clients with distinct projects.
To achieve this, you would need to group users under specific organisations, and in some cases, users might belong to multiple organisations, depending on the access they require.
However, I cannot guarantee this solution will perfectly fit your requirements, as I am not entirely familiar with the specific needs and dynamics of your team. As a precaution, I suggest you trial this method by impersonating a global officer with restricted access to see if it works for your scenario.
Let me knowif you would like to see a practical example or if you have any other questions.
