Hello,

I am trying to enable deep clone but the target project is not available. I get the error:

"We only show target projects for which you have the "Create issue" permission, and that are not excluded by “Restrict Access” in the Deep Clone settings.

If you need the permission to clone into a project which is not available, please contact your Jira administrator."

Any help would be much appreciated.

I was able to fix this, although I set Create Issue permissions, I realised I was not in the "People" section of that target board call it project B

I added myself as a person to the board with the Role Service desk team, I was then able to set up Deep clone from project a to project B

All working now

Hey @Mihir Ruparelia

If cloning a Jira project is not just a flash in the pan for you, but you want to repeat it multiple times, then your project is a process because recurring projects are processes!

Flower - Process Automation clones your Jira projects as repeatable processes, including all issues, links, and structures.

Here is how to clone a Jira project as a process.

Happy automating,

Florian
