External customers in Organisation keep being added as Internal Account Type

Hello

When i invite a 3rd party customer to their respective organization it keeps adding them as an internal account type, and i dont seem to be able to change to external. 

I want as external, as internal creates an account and therefore a cost. 

Any ideas what im doing wrong? I cant adjust account type from the Organization page.

Thanks, it was actually because the users had a Confluence account and therefore automatically got put into Internal account type. I deleted their Conf/Jira account and re-added, all okay.
