Google Custom Email Connection

I have successfully connected a Google email as a custom email in JSD. When I try to send an email and submit an email request from both internal/external emails nothing happens. I get no ticket created, I get no email notification, nothing. It works with the default JIRA support email.

Am I missing a configuration? I have enabled all customer permission settings in JIRA, but perhaps something in Google?

Thanks,

Ned

Check the logs!

Navigate to project  - <Project Name> - Project Settings - Email Requests

In this section you'll see "Default email account" - Click the Logs hyperlink below and It should inform you what the error is. In most cases it has been that external customer emails have not been enabled - you should start here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/change-global-customer-permissions/

Good luck!
