Under the Related Jira issues section in JSM Assets, it is filtered to "Unresolved" issues. It will not filter to "resolved" issues. I want this Related Jira Issues section to show all related issues for the asset, not just open tickets. =)

Hi @Jessica Hicks

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

By default, the Related Jira Issues section in Assets only shows unresolved issues, and unfortunately, there's no built-in toggle (yet) to change that behavior to include resolved ones.

A few ways to work around this would be:

  • Use a custom “Filter Issues Scope” field
    You can add a new attribute to your object type using the “Filter Issue Scope (JQL)” field type. With this, you can define your own JQL like: "YourObjectField" = ${object}
    • This will show all linked issues, including resolved ones, and you can sort them by created or updated date for context. You can then place this custom field on the object’s view layout alongside the default "Related Issues" panel.
  • Add to Object Layout for better visibility
    • In the object’s layout config, just include your new custom field under a separate section like “All Linked Issues” so your team can see both open and closed issues together.
