I want to use automation for my Service Desk project. If a user creates a task of a certain type, I want to send a POST request to my server and automatically process that request.
I created an automation rule, but the request is missing the email address of the client who created the request.
How can I display this address in a request?
Hi @Alexander2010 ,
I fear this might not be possible. Depending if the customer already has an atlassian account they themselves can control what information they share.
You notice it as well if you GET a list of your customers, some might have an email, some dont.
They control this themselves whether their email address is private or public on their atlassian profile.
Hi @Dirk Ronsmans .
My clients do not have an Atlassian account, I added them manually as clients.
Is there really no way to display a customer's email address? This completely blocks the possibility of working with automation, since it is not clear which client made the request.
