How to automatically add the person as the request participant in Jira

Hi there,

My goal is to create a ticket through an email request and add a person who should be involved in the ticket every time the ticket updates, by including them in the CC field. I'd like to have this person or persons added to the request participants field. Is it even possible to make it work that way?

Hi @alexej.friedrich ,

  1. Anyone with access to the service project can add request participants by including the participant’s email address in the “To” or “Cc” field when creating the request.
  2. Depending on your JSM customer access settings and project's customer permissions, users will be able to add people to the project as new customers by including their email address in the “To” or “Cc” field when replying to a request’s email notification.
