How to create custom field based on data on another project?

I have Project A and Project B

When customer is issuing a ticket under project A I need to display information in cusomer portal from issues in Project B.

Then according to the selection other data needs to be copied to project A from information in Project B

example of cenario:

Project A - Real state customer requests
Project B - Condominiums lists

Customer goes to Project A to open a request of information for certain house.
I need to have a field where to select from all condominiums available in "Project B".

When customer selects the condominium, let's say "Queen Royal Caribbean", it gets other information from that issue selected to the Project A issue.
for example, "VIP Lux Team" as solvers, 30-50M as Price range.

Hi @Diogo Rodrigues ,

this is not possible by default. You might be able to solve this with a third party app, as you are looking for an issue picker field.

My honest opinion: your request sounds exactly like you need an asset management. But using Assets in JSM would require a plan upgrade to premium.

There are other apps that offer similar features, like Stagil Assets, which stores Assets as issues.

Hello,

just tested Stagil and it doesn't fulfill all the needs.

I need different JQL for different contexts of project/issue type/request type. Stagil don't cover request type.

additionally I need to copy information from that link to an custom field of the issue.
It doesn't as well. I can do it by automation, but it need to be a global automation that in standard version is limited.

However I did contact support before and got reply that was not possible what I was looking for

Meanwhile I’m also testing Stagil Issue Picker that it seems to have a lot of potential for what I need; however seems to have similar limitations with contexts.

In context configurations we should be able to have multiple contexts to same project.

so imagine the following scenario:

• "IT Support" project
• Issues type
  • "Incident"
  • "Service Requests"
• Requests type for "Service Requests"
  • "Software"
  • "Hardware"

If I want to display to customer the list of software or hardware depending on request type I can't because it will always return the Software and Hardware all together.

It is only possible to have one data logic to a certain Project
