How to stop notifications to reporter on ticket status change?

Hello,

My service desk is sending reporters email notifications when their ticket transitions status. I'm trying to minimize spammy / useless emails, but I cannot seem to shut this off.

In project settings > notifications, I have removed reporter + watchers from "Issue updated" and "General" at the very bottom. So why is it still sending this email that just says "Andrew changed the status to ..." ???

@Andrew Boeger You will want to go to Project Settings > Customer Notifications and turn off Customer-visible status changed.  Then the customer will not receive the notification you are referring to.

Thank you! It would be nice if these 2 separate but entirely related areas were more connected ;)
