I know in Change calendar an issue appears when I fill these fields:
Planned start date
Planned end date
Actual start date
Actual end date
But I need the issue appears in the calendar when it's approved in a status.
How can I accomplish this request? with an automation maybe?
For the Operation - Change Calendar, those date fields must be populated for the issues to show up in the calendar as described in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/show-change-requests-on-the-change-calendar/
If you need the issues to show up when the issue is approved (I assume you are referring to the WF status), then I would recommend that you customize your WF for the transition to the "Approved" status to make those 4 date fields required (validator) by creating a custom pop-up window containing those 4 fields. So, only when those fields are populated, then the issue can be approved. This will in turns making the issue to be displayed on the calendar.
Hope this makes sense.

Hi Joseph, I've tried to implement what you suggested me:
1-I've created a transition screen in which I've include those 4 fields
2- I've added the screen to the approve transition
3- and I've added the validators (the 4 fields must have a value, one validator per field).
As result when I arrive to the status that needs the approval and I approve the issue, the transition screen doesn't appear and the issue is transitioned to the next status without the 4 fields, so the validator do not prevent transition the issue. What Am I doing wrong? I would appreciate a lot if you can help. Thanks

Can you provide your WF diagram and your validator's setup? How did you process the Approval operations?
Best, Joseph

Hi Joseph, yesterday after search info I've read that in a transition that is after an approval step (no matter if it's approved or rejected) it doesn't show a transition screen and that was my problem ( https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Workflow-Transition-Screens-does-not-appear-for-Approval-or/qaq-p/1653386 ), so I resolved putting an intermediate status and the the transition with the fields and the validators and worked perfectly.
