Is it possible to clone a ticket based on ticket workflow status to a different board via automation

Hi there

We are trying to implement  JSM workflow at the moment, but stuck on how to implement automation from a Service request to an Existing Board

What we have so far :

  • JSM Project
  • A  new JIRA Board created for the JSM  request  "Test Tech"

Missing;

  • An automated way to grab this ticket  from "TEST-TECH" and clone to an existing board called "TECHNOLOGY" based on ticket status  When a ticket moves from "TO DO" to "In Progress" , a cloned ticket gets createdjira-jsm.PNG
  • If this ticket involves 2, 3 subtasks. Is there a way to create them also based on the Service request ?

Goal :

  • From a JSM  Request, the MAIN ticket  (test 4) status gets updated based on the clone ticket(s) that live on different boards
