Is there an Atlassian Issue out there "gathering interest" for a blank JSM project template?

It would be nice to have an Atlassian template that has bare minimum for project creation so that we can quickly customize it for any purpose

I could always create one on my own and then use it as a base for all future customized JSM projects, but that base would live in our records...

Does anyone know if there's a ticket out there for Atlassian that is similar to my request?

Hi @Aileen ,

There's a variety of different templates to choose from. I'm not aware of a template of stripping most of the features out. Most of the templates provides a good jumping off point where you have a handful of JSM features to start using.  There is the option of creating your own set of schemes that you like and use that for all your projects.

I agreed with what @Benjamin suggested.  In our env, we will use the out of the box template when creating new JSM project, and we have setup common standard configurations setup (i.e. Fields, Screens, Workflows, Permissions scheme configurations etc) where we used after the project is provisioned to enforce the company standards.

In regards to if there are any enhancement requests with Atlassian on this topic, there is an outstanding case that you can add yourself as a watcher of it -

As stated in the request, you can try out marketplace paid add-ons to give you that functionality because it is not possible currently out of the box in JSM Cloud env.
