Hi there! Relatively new to Jira, trying to improve existing service desk set up. Right now stuck on trying to understand the whole issues, fields, screen and schemes configurations. I understand that they are interconnected, but can't fully figure out the way in which they are connected. Every time I tried to change something (i.e. remove a field from customer view), I end up breaking something else. Is there an article/tutorial/video that can help me better understand how it works? I read quite a few articles in Community and Documentations, but non seems to cover the top view. Any help appreciated!

Hi @Aliya from eyezon and welcome to the community!

Since you read some documentation, I'll take it that you are not unfamiliar with the terminology. With that said, I would suggest that you read the following article https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Configurations-overview-Understanding-Jira-schemes/ba-p/1894016

And this -> https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/project-screens-schemes-and-fields-938847220.html (it doesn't matter that it is for the server. The concept is exactly the same)
