Hi everyone,
This question is a bit similar to my last one:
Do the Business Projects in Jira Service Management not have lists, boards or calendars?
Or am I just not looking in the right place for the relevant settings?
Asking specifically about Jira Service Management Data Center (- everything is a little bit different in Data Center it seems...).

Related to that: if there are no lists, can the Search page of a Business Project be set as the default page, so that it's the first page you land on when you access that project?
Kind regards and have a great weekend!
Paul
Hi, @Paul Ceronio. Are you coming from Cloud (to Data Center)?
The simple answer to your questions is, unfortunately, no. Atlassian Cloud solutions were inspired by their older on-prem siblings. They were built with an entirely new architecture and a similar but new feature set (based on things they learned in the on-prem world).
Atlassian Data Center solutions, on the other hand, are an evolution of the same on-prem architecture and features that existed in the Server product line.
Also, to the best of my knowledge, there no way to make a Jira Core business project page search page be the default homepage for everyone. Check out 'Viewing a project' for some relevant info. (Jira Core is the foundation for all of the Jira product family, on Data Center).
I hate being the bearer of bad news. Sorry. And maybe I am wrong about some of these things —I haven't used Data Center for a couple of years now. Hopefully, someone will 'speak up' if they have better advice for you.
Best,
-dave
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the info. Pity, I suspected as much though.
I will make do with a Service Project, then.
Best regards,
Paul
