×We are trying to tag or mention multiple users in a auto comment through automation rule.
Step1: we created a custom user picker field
Step2: copying the Userid's to user picker field(Approver) using automation rule
Step3: Created an automation rule to tag/Mention all the users in the user picker field in to auto comment
Users were not tagging instead user id are showing.
Please advise.
Hello @felix.weber,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community!
I checked the ticket and it was closed due to inactivity, so we are not sure if the issue was ever resolved.
There were some suggestions regarding smart values that you can try:
[~accountid:{{issue.fields.customfield_XXXXX.accountId}}]
[~accountid:{{customfield_XXXXX.accountId}}]
Then, they asked for the output of the following API to investigate:
https://<yourinstanceurl>/rest/api/2/issue/<issuekey>?expand=names
If you are still facing this issue and the above smart values don’t work, feel free to share with us screenshots of your automation rule so we can better understand what is happening.
Kind regards,
Angélica

With this said, to avoid any possible misunderstandings or miscommunication that may arise from discussing the same matter on two different platforms, let's focus on the ticket instead.
Once the ticket is resolved, feel free to share the resolution here to help other community members that may have the same question.
Kind regards,
