Multiple issue types per issue type functionality - E.g. Issue types "Change1" and "Change2"

Hi,

Does the Issue Type integration (E.g. Change Calendar and Change Management) in JSM support multiple issue types?

For example if one wanted to have more than one workflow for Change.

Hi Arnar,

No, that is not possible.  An issue type can only have one workflow. 

It's actually the whole point of having an issue type - it determines how that type should work. 

How would Jira know which workflow to use if you had more than one for an issue type?  You need to tell it somehow, and the way Jira does it is by knowing that the issue type only has one workflow.

But, issue types can share workflows, and you can have many issue types.

So, yes, for your example, you would want to create two workflows, and two issue types
